Do you provide food?
Yes! With our full-time food service team, we can feed hundreds at a time—and we pride ourselves on how many campers come back for seconds (and thirds!).Do you accommodate dietary needs?
Yes, we are glad to work with groups on dietary restrictions. Please share any special requests when booking so our kitchen team can plan ahead.Do I need to bring a coffee pot?
No need—we’ve got you covered. Fresh, hot coffee is served every morning in the dining hall. -
Should we bring our own bedding?
Yes. Our beds are cozy, but you’ll need to bring your own twin XL bedding or a sleeping bag along with a pillow.Is there a refrigerator my group can use?
Yes. Each cabin has a refrigerator, and groups staying in the Lodge have access to a shared refrigerator for snacks, medicines, and other items.What should we pack?
Along with bedding, plan to bring towels, toiletries, a Bible, a reusable water bottle, and clothes suited for outdoor fun. We’ll provide the activities—just bring your sense of adventure! -
Can we swim in the lake?
Yes! Our lake has a beach and swimming area with activities like volleyball, basketball, and inflatables. Swimming is only allowed when a Tanglewood lifeguard is on duty. Lifejackets are required (and provided) for all swimming and canoeing.Do you provide fishing poles?
Please bring your own poles and tackle if you plan to fish.Do you have balls for sports and games?
Yes, we provide basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, footballs, and sets for 9-square, 4-square, kickball, pickleball, and spikeball.Can we bring our own discs for disc golf?
We have several sets available, but you’re welcome to bring your own!Can we make a fire?
Yes! As long as there is no burn ban, we’re happy to build a fire for your group at one of our multiple firepits. -
Do you offer Wi-Fi?
Yes. Access depends on the type of event:Camps: Wi-Fi information is given only to leaders and chaperones. Students do not have access, as we want to provide an unplugged, distraction-free environment.
Retreats: Wi-Fi is available for all attendees—perfect for planning sessions, team collaboration, and church or business retreats.
Is there cell service?
Most major carriers have coverage on site, but strength may vary in some areas of camp.Do you provide AV or tech support in meeting spaces?
Yes, our meeting spaces are equipped with sound systems and projection capabilities. While we can help you get connected, we recommend having someone on your team that can perform AV duties. -
Is swimming supervised?
Yes. Swimming is only permitted when a Tanglewood lifeguard is present. Lifejackets are required and provided.Do we need to bring medical staff?
Each group is responsible for providing its own first aid supplies and designated medical staff or point person. Our team will help with emergency procedures as needed.What about severe weather?
Our staff monitors weather conditions closely and will work with group leaders to adjust activities and keep participants safe. -
Can I bring my dog/cat/pet pig?
No pets allowed. Tanglewood welcomes service animals specifically trained to assist individuals with disabilities. Pets, emotional support animals, and other non-service animals are not permitted.Do you allow outside food or snacks?
Yes, groups may bring snacks to keep in their lodging areas. Please store all food securely.Is alcohol, tobacco, or vaping allowed?
No. For the safety and wellbeing of all guests, these items are not permitted anywhere on property.
