For the past decade, lives have been transformed here through summer camps, retreats, and quiet moments under open skies. Those who’ve experienced Tanglewood often say the same thing: they just want to be here.

Growth
In the last decade, we have seen incredible growth, specifically in the last three years. God is bringing people and lives are being changed.

Opportunities
Our team is rapidly scaling to keep pace with our growth, however, our primary growth are to complete our worship space and add lodging.

In order to address our present needs, we are launching a capital campaign and growing partnerships.
Increased Worship Space
Our worship pavilion conversion is in progress with a goal completion date of Spring 2026. Our new facility will be able to accommodate 500 people and has 4 rooms and space for 12 breakout areas.
This facility will be able to address the pain point of multiple groups on our campus and the size constraints of our current worship room. With a cash flow injection, we will be able to complete the facility.

Additional Lodging
We currently have two 26-person cabins on our campus, so our goal would be to increase the amount of lodging focused on youth and kids by adding 4 additional cabins that can accomodate 30 people each. We would love to also add a dormitory style building in the future.

For the past decade, God has been creating healing life change through camps, retreats, and events on our campus. In 2025, we had another amazing year of salvations, baptisms, and worship. People need spiritual renewal in an age of busy schedules and constant notifications, and we are privileged to offer a sacred place where people can truly experience that.

We have seen incredible growth, specifically in the last three years. God is bringing people to us. However, we are running out of room! This year alone, we’ve had to say no to over 1,100 people due to space constraints. Both our schedule and physical space is packed in! We also need to address the pain point of multiple groups and one worship space.

Our two largest pain points are more worship space to accommodate multiple groups and more lodging. To solve for that, our worship pavilion conversion is under way thanks to many volunteer laborers. We are aiming for completion before next summer pending funding.
Secondly, our bed count currently sits at 216 mattresses. However, we are consistently saying no to both larger groups and groups we do not have vacancy for. Your donation will go toward 4 new cabins and a dorm style building. -
Other growth opportunities as we grow include additional employees, another activity pavilion, and more activities such as high ropes.

We are just getting started! Celebrating 10 years marks the turning of a page into a new chapter of ministry for Camp Tanglewood! We celebrate God’s past faithfulness and to trust Him in our next steps. We are excited to see how our partnerships grow and see how he continues to move.
